February 26, 1923 – May 26, 2021. Abraham died peacefully in the arms of loving family just months after brushing past his 98th birthday as if it were just another day. He was a World War II Marine, an engineer, and the loving husband of Elaine who died in 1990. Everyone who met him knew he was a good, gently wise, and humble man with no regrets behind him or unachieved ambitions before him. He is survived by his sons, Lawrence and Hank; his grandchildren Lane and Amelia and her new husband, Anthony; and his daughters-in-law Jaci and Tina.
A memorial gathering will be planned for the one-year anniversary of Abe’s death.
To honor his life, the family asks everyone Abe touched to donate to Isaiah House at www.theisaiahhouse.org (71 Prince Street/Rochester, NY 14605) a Rochester nonprofit providing hospice end-of-life services to indigent and homeless people who might otherwise die alone.
