Adam was the first member of his generation in our family and sadly the first to leave us. All who loved him, myself very much included, saw him with a mixture of compassion and pride. He suffered through much of his life, having little control over much of it. He was also brilliant, wickedly funny and manifested an unfailing appreciation of the spiritual world and pursued it passionately whenever he could. I’m particularly upset that I was going to attend a workshop with him this Saturday, which he was really looking forward to. This may sound like a cliche, but my belief is that his soul has been released from all the suffering, giving him full advantage of the spiritual sky awaiting him.

Deepest condolences to your family and love to my old friend Elizabeth who I’ve known since before the children were born. I miss and love you and though we’re miles apart, you’re always still dear and close in my heart. I’m here for you if you ever want to talk or visit, you’re always welcome here in NW Florida.
