HIS WAS A LIFE WELL-LIVED Accountant/developer/philanthropist/restaurateur/education advocate, Alan R. Saiger died peacefully on July 13, 2022, at the age of 87. Predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Selma [Kushner] Saiger; step-father, Harry Slive; and daughter, Jennifer [Saiger] Smith. Survived by his loving wife, Anne Allen; children, Stacey Stone, Gail (John) Blanchard-Saiger, and Sierra Stiller/Saiger; step-children, Heather (Jeff) Raubenstrauch, and Christopher (Mia) Allen; sisters, Sondra Goldberg and Debra (James) Miller; grandchildren, Daniella, Benjamin, Emily, Brianna, Elyse, Leighton, Regan and Rilan; great-grandchildren, Timberlee, Adrianna, Jayla, Anthony Jr., Elijiah, Cameron and Lincoln,; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held on MONDAY July 18, 2022 at 11 AM in The Interfaith Chapel at Brighton Memorial Chapel, Inc. (3325 Winton Road South). CLICK HERE for a map to the funeral home.
A procession will follow to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 PM on Monday July 18, 2022 at Chen Garden (1750 Monroe Avenue in Brighton). CLICK HERE for a map to the restaurant.
A celebration of life is also planned for May 6, 2023 in Rochester.
