Bernard passed away on October 10, 2023, just nine days after his birthday.
He was predeceased by his parents, Max and Fanny Baron, and his siblings, Samuel Baron and Harriet Zweig. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Rina; their children: Michael (Deborah) Baron, Gary (Sherry) Baron, and Linda (Joel) Bernstein; grandchildren: Christine, Scott, Brady, Samuel, Jenna, Jaime and Jillian; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Alexis, and Avery; as well as nieces, nephews, and Judy Greenstein.
Bernard was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a long time resident of Brighton, and the owner of Baron Printing Company. Subsequently, he and Rina got into the antiques with their buisiness called The Barons of Olde. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His sense of humor and smile could light up a room. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Graveside Service to be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 13, 2023 at White Haven Memorial Park (210 Marsh Road), followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30 AM at The Briarwood Building at St. John’s Meadows, 1 Johnsarbor Dr West.
The family will sit Shiva from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 15, 2023 also at The Briarwood Building at St. John’s Meadows, 1 Johnsarbor Drive West, Brighton.
Donations may be made in Bernard’s name to a charity of one’s choice or to the
United States Holocaust Memorial Museum
