Our beloved Betsy Bobry, of Pittsford, passed away on September 25, at age 92. 

She is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Mary Berg; sibling, Milton (Edee) Berg, granddaughter, Emily Bobry. Betsy is survived by her children, Harold (Terri) Bobry, Linda (Michael) Raff and Michael Bobry; grandchildren, Melanie (Dan Polant) Bobry; Jennifer (Brad) Rosenbaum, Lisa (Bernard) Birnbaum, Steven (Peter) Raff, Daniel (Seyera) Bobry, Elana Bobry and Daniel and Elana’s mother, Doris Bobry; great-grandchildren, Isaac, Evelyn, Sammy, Tristan, Nathan, Graham, Lucas, Charlotte, Adam and Jonah.

Betsy put her family first and taught all of us to respect everyone. She was always involved in philanthropy, especially through Temple B’rith Kodesh, where she served as president of sisterhood. She was an ardent supporter and volunteered with Hadassah. Betsy was fortunate to travel around the world hand in hand with her forever boyfriend, Stuart. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Betsy’s Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Temple B’rith Kodesh, 2131 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14618. Interment to follow at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford.

The family will sit Shiva from 7:00-9:00 PM on Saturday, September 27th, and from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM on Sunday, September 28th, 2025, all held at 6 Mid Ponds Lane, Pittsford, NY 14534.
