Beverlee Dorren passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026 just a few weeks shy of her 95th birthday. She was predeceased by her parents (Ralph and Anne Scott) and her husband Jack. She will be missed by daughters Shelley Markowitz (Larry), Karen Berman (Bob), Lori Giarrusso (Tim); grandchildren Rachel Krupitsky (Josh), Allison Moroni (Joseph), Annie Lieto (Joseph), Joshua Berman (Chelsie), Abigail Weber (Dustin); great-grandchildren Eli and James Moroni, Norah Lieto, Jack Berman, Henry and Beatrice Weber; brother Mel Scott, and nephews and nieces.
Beverlee graduated from Monroe High School and attended Buffalo State College. She and Jack raised three daughters and built a family business in Rochester before retiring to Florida. Their years in Florida were filled with relaxation, new friends and travel. After Jack’s death in 1999 she returned to Rochester to be close to family and old friends. Back in Rochester, she returned to her love of drawing and painting and grew as an artist. She loved drawing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many friends treasure the drawings of their pets that she created. She reconnected with old friends and made many wonderful new friends during her years in Rochester. She will be remembered for her lovely smile, ready laugh and kind ways. May her memory be a blessing to those who loved her.
Graveside service at White Haven Memorial Park, Friday September 4th at 11:00.
Donations in Beverlee's memory may be made to the Jewish Home Foundation.
