February 9, 2022, at age 103. She is predeceased by her parents Samuel and Cecelia Lanzner, her devoted husband Philip, her daughter Susan H. Horwitz, and her brother Harold Lanzner. She is survived by her daughter Margie Wilkov (Tim Moehnke), son-in-law Richard Horwitz (Caryl Levinson), her sister Emily Fisher Landau, grandchildren Jeffrey Wilkov (Nicole McGuire), Jennifer Wilkov (Andrew Akers), Rebecca Horwitz, and Jason Horwitz (Becky) and her great-grandchildren Syd, Logan, Jake, Sam, and Lainey.

Charlotte was the beloved matriarch of her family. She generously gave of herself as the Executive Director of the Syracuse Chapter of the American Diabetes Association, tutored international students in English, and served on the Advisory Committee for the Institute for the Family at URMC. Her wisdom, warmth, and loving nature was without equal and appreciated by all who knew her.

The family thanks the incredible staff at The Lodge at Wolk Manor for their care and love for Charlotte these past three years.

A private family graveside service was held at Mount Hope Cemetery.
