April 15, 2021. Predeceased by her parents, Sidney I. & Gertrude (Sablowsky) Nusbaum. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Harry; devoted children, Sydnee Joy Mayer & Dr. Michael (Cindy) Mayer; adored grandchildren, Matthew, Alexander & Sofia; several cousins and lifelong friends.

Connie was a graduate of Brighton High School and earned her B.A. & M.A. from the University of Rochester. She was extremely proud of her ancestral role in the history of Judaism in Rochester. Her great grandfather, Meyer Nusbaum, started the first synagogue in Rochester in 1884. Then, it was called the Nusbaum Synagogue and today it is known as Congregation Beth Hakneses Hachodosh.

Graveside Services will take place in Britton Road Cemetery on SUNDAY, April 18, 2021, at 2 PM on what would have been Connie’s 87th birthday. Services will also be streamed for those who cannot attend. CLICK HERE AT 1:55 PM TO STREAM THE SERVICE.

The family will receive friends at 22 Towpath Circle on MONDAY & TUESDAY from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Click here for a map.
