Passed away on April 13, 2022, at the age of 94. Predeceased by his wife, Monica [Pepe] Alva; parents, Hyman and Anna [Cohen] Alva; sister, Sara (Izzy) Ouriel; brother-in-laws, Ted Levinson and Phil Weinstein. Survived by his daughter, Vicki Alva (Daniel Brown); sisters, Tillie Levinson and Rachel Weinstein; many cousins, nephews, nieces and dear friends.

Dave was married to Monica for almost 30 years when she passed away in 1993. He was a Korean War veteran, serving from 1950-1952 and a devoted father to his daughter, Vicki. He will be missed by many lifelong friends and family.

Graveside Services will be held on MONDAY April 18, 2022 at 3 PM in White Haven Memorial Park (210 Marsh Raod in Pittsford). Family and friends are asked to gather at the Main Entrance. CLICK HERE for a map to the cemetery.
