Passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 70 after a long courageous battle. Predeceased by her parents, Edward and Marion Simon, brothers Steven Simon and David Simon, and sister Susan Scarborough. Survived by her children Nathan (Ann) Cornell, Leah (Dan) Cornell, and Josh Cornell as well as her two grandchildren who could lift her mood just by their mention.

Diane was born in Buffalo, NY but spent the majority of her life living in Webster, NY.  She was an avid crafter and enjoyed creating things to share with friends and family.  She was extremely proud of her children and never missed a moment to spend time with them and be a part of their families.  Aside from her family, her dogs Frankie and Joey were always by her side and provided companionship in the later part of her life.

 Services will be held privately.
