Dr. Arnold W. Henry passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026, at the age of 88. He is predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Goldie Henry of Williamsport, PA. Arnold is survived by his loving wife, Fran Henry; daughters Debra Herr (Allen) and Staci Henning; and grandchildren Jenna Herr, Chelsea Herr, Jake Henning, and Samara Henning.

Arnold received a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, a Master of Science in Engineering from Princeton University, and a PhD in Polymer Science from the University of Akron. Arnold was an accomplished polymer scientist with 80 patents, many of which form the foundation of xerography. Arnold loved to play bridge, cheer on the NY Mets and NY Giants, and take pride in his children and grandchildren’s successes. His humble, wise counsel enriched the lives of all who knew and loved him.

The family will hold a private graveside service. Shiva (host calling hours) will be held on Monday, August 31, from 5 pm to 8 pm at Staci Henning’s home.
