Passed away on June 23, 2021, at the age of 90. Born in Bad Homburg, Germany. Relocated with parents Dr. Walter and Hedy Dreyfuss to Amsterdam, NY at an early age to escape the holocaust. Predeceased by his wife, Sandra (2006) and his parents. Survived by his son, Peter (Silvie) Dreyfuss; daughter, Lisa Snyder; granddaughters, Ilana (Jacob) Katz, Alexandra Dreyfuss and Sarah Dreyfuss; and very special friend Joan Rosenthal.
Dr. Dreyfuss graduated from Cornell University in 1953 and The Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 1957. He practiced Allergy and Pediatric Allergy for over 50 years. He was an Emeritus Clinical Professor of Pediatrics and Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He was also a past president of the Rochester Pediatric Society.
Funeral Services will be held on MONDAY, JUNE 28th at 11 AM in the sanctuary of Temple B’rith Kodesh, 2131 Elmwood Avenue. For those who are not able to attend, the service will be streamed on the temple’s YouTube channel. CLICK HERE FOR THE LINK. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
