With deep sadness, we report the death of Robert Steven Kowal, D.D.S. He is predeceased by parents, Sylvia and Phillip, survived by his wife of 50 years, Dr. Janet Kowal, children Dr. Rachel Kowal (Matt) , Brian (Lorin), grandchildren Eli and Eva, Mila and Hadlie and his dear siblings Susan, Kathy and Jack (Ronnie), nieces and nephew, cousins and friends.

Robby, as he was known, was a graduate of Brighton High School. He attended the University of Buffalo and received his dental degree from New York University.

For more than 40 years, Robby practiced dentistry in Rochester and Shortsville NY. He had a wonderful office staff especially office manager Cheryl Wynne who was by his side for all of those years.

Robby played racquetball at the JCC and was a member of Irondequoit Country Club. Robby was a unique, kind and generous man who will be missed by all who had the opportunity to experience his humor, liveliness and warmth.
