Edgar Musicus passed away on June 30, 2026 at age 92 surrounded by his loving family. Ed is survived by Jill, his devoted wife of 63 years, sons Marc (Ewa) and Andrew (Julie). He was known as Pop-E to his two adored grandchildren, Alexander and Sabrina. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces. Family and close friends were always Ed’s number one priority.

Ed was vice-president of sales and marketing with the Lincoln Group Limited. He was a key and well-regarded figure within the Rochester radio industry and took personal pleasure mentoring people by encouraging them to reach their full potential. Ed earned national recognition by being included in the book In Search of Radio Excellence, commissioned by the National Association of Broadcasters. His leadership was marked by the values he lived every day — trust, integrity and excellence.

Ed profoundly touched the lives of all he met, both personally and professionally, a true gentleman and friend who was an avid sports aficionado and devoted Buffalo Bills and New York Yankee fan. His loss will be deeply felt.
Funeral services will be held, Friday, July 3, 10 AM at Temple Beth El (139 Winton Rd. S) – services will be livestreamed, CLICK HERE to view the livestream. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. Shiva will be observed Friday, July 3 only from 2-5 PM at Temple Beth El. Donations may be directed to a charity of ones choice in Ed’s memory.
