Passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband, Seymour Gudovitz; and parents, Samuel and Naomi [Goldman] Shadoff. Survived by her cherished sons, David (Sheryl) Gudovitz, Robert (Donna) Gudovitz, and Neil (Adriana Marina) Gudovitz; her grandchildren, Brandon Gudovitz, Ryan (Haley) Gudovitz, Lauren Gudovitz, Nicole Levy and Ryan Levy; her great-grandchildren Brayden, Ryder, Joleigh & Makayla, nieces, nephews, cousins and a community of dear friends. Warm and loving gratitude to Myong Piecuch, who became like a daughter to Elaine during her last years.  She inspired Elaine’s family and friends with her love, incredible compassion and commitment. Elaine’s grandchild, Henry Solomon Gudovitz, was the precious light, sun, beautiful noise and laughter ​of Elaine’s later years.  Sometimes a hug can mean more than mere words.

​Funeral Services will be held on FRIDAY September 25, 2026 at 10 AM in All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park [210 Marsh Road]. CLICK HERE for a map to the cemetery.
