Eleanor Cherin
Grandma was always a incredibly thoughtful and adventurous person. She loved taking my brother and I to fun activities all across Rochester from plays/musicals to the gingerbread displays at the Eastman museum. My favorite memories as a kid were spending the afternoons at her house after school once a week playing games, watching old school cartoons and eating way too much of popcorn and challah. I miss and love you grandma and I'll always remember you.

I was lucky enough to meet Ellie over a few family dinners and I was always in awe of her sense of adventure and her willingness to try anything. She shared some of her photo albums from her travels and some of her favorite memories from each country she visited. I feel very lucky to have known her and aspire to have her sense of adventure.

I had the pleasure of knowing Ellie at 1600 East Avenue Apartments. She was an active participant in any and all activities there. Everyone loved Ellie. She was a very warm and caring person with a wonderful sense of humor. My sincere condolences to her family.
