Ellen was born May 25, 1961 in Rochester, New York and passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 63. Predeceased by her father, Hersch Bornstein; nephew, Sam Wyatt Caswell; and step-father, Carl Hanselmann. Survived by her children, Joseph (Nichole) Sampson and Hannah Sampson; grandchildren, Vincenzo and Madeline; mothers, Carolyn Bornstein and Lydia Samuel; sisters, Jenny (George) Bornstein Lewis and Liza (Eric) Rochelson; nieces, Amanda Caswell, Rachel Rochelson and Adena Rochelson; grand-dogs, Jeffrey and Ms. Sox; and many cousins and dear friends.

Ellen’s family would like to thank the caring and supportive staff of the Hildebrandt for their love and compassion.

Graveside Services were held privately.
