Ellis and I met in the First grade which is over 70 years ago and have been friends ever since. Throughout the years we always kept in touch on our birthdays and holidays. I have lived in Arizona for the past 20 years. When we took trips to Rochester we always got together. We spoke on phone two weeks ago. Ellis was a real great guy and will be missed by every one that new him. RIP Art and Lucille Sharf

Randy and Stuart, I am so sorry for your loss. Your Dad and I have known each other since we were kids. We had the good fortune of sharing our Aunt Annabell and Uncle Hy. Your Dad and our Cousin Sandy would frequently just drop in with a great smile and a story to say hi and end up visiting for quite a while. He will be greatly missed.

Randy and Stuart, I was so deeply saddened to learn of your Dad's passing. We all met over 35 years ago the day we moved into our new home on Towpath. Even after we had all moved elsewhere, I would always run into Ellis in the Pittsford Wegman's. He would always greet me with a big smile. Then we would stand and talk for quite a while comparing notes on our children and grandchildren and ourselves. He was a good friend and will truly be missed. May his soul be bound up in the bonds of Eternal Life.

Our deepest condolences to the Ellis' loved ones. We met Ellis because of Towpath Lane and enjoyed seeing him at various intervals over nearly 30 years. May his memory be a blessing.

Stuart & Randy, I still have fond memories of your presence in the "old days" at the JCC. No doubt your Dad's influence helped to formulate what I appreciated about you guys. It shows up in his smile. May you hold on to cherished memories always.
