A leader like Eric doesn’t come along very often. Sometimes I look back to my camper experience at the JCC, reminiscing on Eric’s passion to make the most fulfilling experience for all of us, whether in leading an adventure-themed challenge or having us covering him in paint to shine bright. A brilliant leader, he inspired those around him to live life to the fullest. Whether leading a group hike at Camp Sisol, growing Rochester’s USY chapter, or running into those he knew at Wegmans, he put a smile on those around him. I am so incredibly grateful to have known Eric… and send my condolences to his wife Jessica and his family.

Dear Howard, Sue and family, I was hoping this day would never come…. Eric was a wonderful boy and a amazing man! I have never admired anyone as much as him. Through out this whole ordeal, I never saw him give up hope, so I never gave up hope either. I am sad that we will no longer see his smiling face, but also, so glad he is no longer in pain. My heart goes out to you all. Amy

My Grandson, Eric, was amazing, strong, loving, caring, never complained about his treatment or how he felt. He always had a smile, always had a cheerful hello for me, always......I miss him terribly, and will always always love him. Bubby Esther
