Passed away on March 11, 2024 at the age of 96. Predeceased by her husband, Sherwood L. “Woody” Shulman. Survived by her children, Sharon Edelman (Paul Schreiber), Alan, (Renee) Shulman, Barbara Shulman (William Ragen), Ellie Shulman (Javier Cardona) and Mark Shulman; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Esther’s greatest love and source of pride was her family. She will be remembered as someone with an insatiable sweet tooth, an incredible sense of humor, a heart of gold, and a love of life. Esther was very proud of her Sephardic heritage which she shared generously with her family. She was a prize-winning quilter, who loved to bake, play bridge and hit the casinos. Esther had several different occupations, but spent the most time working in the family insurance business.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Jewish Senior Life for their compassionate care of Esther and her family throughout the years.

Funeral services will held on THURSDAY March 14, 2024 at 10 AM at Temple Sinai (363 Penfield Road). CLICK HERE for a map to Temple Sinai.
