Gil passed away on June 11, 2026 at the age of 86.
He is predeceased by his parents Irving and Ann Fox.
He is survived by his children Julie (Brett) Meltzer and Daniel (Lydia) Fox; grandchildren Sebastion and Alex Fox, Amanda Meltzer and Hannah Rogers; and brother Sheldon (Amy) Fox.
Gil loved Rochester history, especially Joseph Ave and Fox’s Deli, friends and stories from his past.
Gil leaves his best friend and partner of 33 years, Helen Witt Lupiani; her children Laura (Richard) Rogers and Alan Lupiani.
With deep sadness and love we say goodbye.
