Hank Markowitz
I'm sorry to hear of Hank's passing. I have many warm memories of Shabbat dinners with him and Sheila at their apartment in the Park Avenue neighborhood. He and my dad loved to chat and sing together on Shabbat and also in the Jewish Chorale. Thinking about you all.

What a beautiful man. Always happy and cheering everybody up. Hank and I go back a looong way. We both grew up on South 5th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn - only 4 brownstones apart. We discovered this fact when we costarred in a JCC play. We'll miss you Hank.

I was very sad to hear of Hank's passing. He was always a happy face at Wegmans, a fun tenor in the Rochester Jewish Choral c and an all around nice guy.

I have very fond memories of Hank in the Rochester Jewish Chorale, in the community and with his wife Sheila. He had a beautiful smile, a great sense of humor, and a great, big heart.

Dear Ben and Carrie, It's been a long time since we left Rochester in 2002, but we still cherish all the wonderful memories we had with your folks and you. We were sorry to learn of your Dad's passing. He was such a light, he was so upbeat, friendly and just overall a great guy. Our wonderful times with our Mishbacha as we all grew up together was an amazing experience especially for us who were new to the community. Just to give you an update on where we are. We have been in Seattle now for almost 25 years. Our daughter Joan and husband are here and they have 2 boys now 28 and 25. Bill is married and in the Boston area and have two girls 18 and 16 and Corinne is married and in the San Diego area and has two girls 15 and 14. If you get a chance to be out in the Seattle area please let us know we would love to see you. (206)523-4384 and cell is 206-713-0600 The Olsons

Dear Sheila and family, I send my deepest condolences. Hank was a treasure and made so many people happy either his bright smile and personality, his love for people and the community in which he made a difference.
