Passed away on June 20, 2022, at the age of 86. Predeceased by his parents, Ezra and Josephine [Friedman] Lasker; brother, Alvin Lasker; in-laws, Irene and Norman Karch; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Fred and Amy Karch. Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Sue [Karch] Lasker; children, Sharon (Frank) Insero, Margie (Dave) Askinazi and Steven Lasker; grandchildren, Josh (Julia) Askinazi, Andrew Askinazi and Jeff (Anne) Insero; great-grandchildren, Haley and Madison Insero; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
The Lasker family would like to thank the staff at The Jewish Home for their fabulous care over the past 7 ½ years – especially to Wanda who was amazing!
Hy built a successful packaging business from the ground up. He was highly regarded in the community. Hy was an avid golfer and a regular participant at M.I.T. He loved the New York Giants and the New York Yankees.
Graveside Services will be held on THURSDAY June 23rd at 10 AM in White Haven Memorial Park (210 Marsh Road). Friends and family are asked to gather at the main entrance.

The family will sit Shiva on THURSDAY from 2 – 4 PM and 7 – 9 PM and on FRIDAY from 1 – 4 PM at 1 Dartmouth Court in Pittsford. CLICK HERE for a map to the Shiva House.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jewish Senior Life Foundation, Temple B’rith Kodesh or a charity of one’s choice in Hy’s memory.
