Passed away on January 3, 2021, four days shy of her 99th birthday. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Robinson; parents, Isadore & Ida Sugarman; brother, Arnold Sugarman & son-in-law, Michael Maio. She is survived by her children, Sandra Maio Robinson, Daniel (Ellen) & Gary (Cheryl) Robinson; grandchildren, Janna (Bradley), Samara (Josh), Zachary (Kate) & Alexander; four wonderful & beautiful great-grandchildren.

Irene lived a wonderful and long life. She never uttered a bad word about anyone and ended every conversation with the words “tell everyone I love them”. After living in San Diego for 3 years during WW2 while her husband served in the USMC, they moved back to Rochester to raise their family. She was an avid card player & cherished her decades-long weekly Canasta group.
