It was a pleasure to know and interact with Janet and her staff at JFS. I served on a number of boards with her and liked being in her grounded, caring and professional aura. She was an amazing community resource for all. May her memory be a blessing forever.

I had the great privilege of working with Janet at Jewish Family Service for over fourteen years and came to love and respect Janet as one of the finest professionals I have ever known; intelligent, caring, thoughtful, honorable, and always true to her calling. I am so sorry to learn of her passing. My heartfelt sympathy to her family. She was so very special!

Janet was beloved by all of us. I have fond memories of Janet going to lunch with me and Holocaust survivor, Sam Resnick z”l. May all who mourn her be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. Sincerely, Bonnie Abrams

Kerry and Alex, my heart is very saddened by your loss. Do know that you are both in my thoughts and prayers. It\\\\\\\'s been waaay too long since we\\\\\\\'ve been in contact, but I remember you both fondly, including trips we took together both as part of the JCC and others. May your memories become brighter every day. Your Mom was a very special person, and resource to the Rochester Jewish Community..and beyond.
