Passed away peacefully but unexpectedly on February 7, 2021, at the age of 66. He was predeceased by his father, Paul Bernstein & brother-in-law, Stephen Hum. He is survived by his mother, Irma Bernstein; sister, Lisa Hum; his two adored nieces, Julia & Eleni; and former wife, Marsha Bernstein. After graduating from Pittsford Sutherland in 1972, Jay went on to Emerson College earning his BS in Speech and Audiology in 1976. Jay was a stamp & coin collector, an avid sports fan, and a train & music enthusiast. He was a voracious consumer of crossword puzzles & loved to read books on the history of the British Isles. He was known for his kind and gentle ways. Jay was a member of the Baha’i Faith.
Funeral Services will be held on WEDNESDAY, February 10, 2021, at 1 PM in All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park (click here for directions).
