I got to know Jewel while visiting my Dad on the 6th floor of the Home and then they both moved to the same cottage. She so enjoyed the sing-a-longs and sometimes my dad would quietly harmonize with her! My minniature poodle was a registerred therapy dog and I often brought her for visits which always brought a smile. At the cottage, she would go right to Jewel who would be laughing because my dog was also named Jewel!

Jewel will remain a legend in the hearts and minds of all at Jewish Senior Life. who were fortunate enough to experience her loving, kind and musical goodness. We are grateful to have been on the journey with her. Keep singing, Jewel!

I had the pleasure of getting to know Jewel as she was on the 6-th floor at the Home, where my Mom had also resided. Talking with her was always fun...and hearing her sing was an amazing experience. Frequent visits with her (except for Covid restrictions) were always uplifting for me...verrrry sharp lady. I shall miss her greatly.
