Lana Berman, 75, passed away peacefully on February 14. Born and raised in Rochester, Lana was a proud graduate of Monroe High School and Nazareth College. Throughout her career as a social worker and adoption counselor, Lana helped hundreds of aspiring parents achieve their adoption goals, and took thoughtful care of those in need. For more than forty years, she participated in a charitable event that gathered holiday gifts for local underprivileged children, and Lana also found time to devote to the local music and art scene, enjoying Rochester’s cultural offerings to her fullest.

She is survived by her loving brother Wayne and his wife Lea, her nieces Liddy and Alice, and a large number of cousins, extended family members, and dear friends to whom she remained close throughout her life.

A private remote memorial service will take place on Friday, February 18, 2022, for family only.
