On behalf of all current and former members of the Rochester Oratorio Society we send condolences to Marshall, and friends and family, for the passing of Lenore. She was a long standing active member and sang Alto for over ten years (1973-1984). May she rest in peace.

I was sad to hear of Lenore 's passing. I have known Karen and Ellen from the early days at CVS to our kids growing up together at Beth El,. I remember Marshall and Lenore's commitment to the JCC when I was a volunteer there myself. It has always been a pleasure to know your family. Lenore and Marshall's contribution to the community and their commitment to the JCC, Beth El and all that makes our Rochester Jewish Community what it is has been a blessing. Lenore will certainly be missed. May her memory be a blessing.

What a blessing that Lenore was my friend! She was so attentive, loyal, engaging, fun, caring, and genuine that I count myself as lucky to have her a friend. She gave me advice that I have never forgotten. When I lost my one year-old grandson, she was so understanding and comforting. We shared a lot through the years. as she did with a wide circle of dear friends. She still is my beloved friend. God bless you, Lenore.

It was such a privilege to have know Lenore. Warm, mind like a steel-trap, big laugh; she truly made me feel part of the extended family. We had much in common, and I always felt at home and welcome in her presence. I see in Karen, Ellen, Roz, Jayme, and Bonnie much of her legacy. Baruch Dayan Emet.
