Passed away on March 29, 2023, at the age of 91. Predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Faye [Solomon] Kalen; his aunts, Hettie and Ann; and uncles, Lewis and Alf; and many relatives. Survived by his loving wife, Nina [Rosenbloom] Kalen; his sons, Mark Kalen, Glen (Joanna Rotkin) Kalen and Dean (Alicia) Kalen; grandchildren Joshua (Olga) and Marissa (Adrian); great-grandchildren, Issak and Elijah; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Beloved by his family and many, many others, all of whom knew his gentleness, his kindness, and his near insatiable curiosity. He wanted to know what was in our hearts, and that was a priceless gift he treasured offering again and again.

Funeral Services will be held on FRIDAY March 31, 2023 at 11 AM in The Interfaith Chapel at Brighton Memorial Chapel. CLICK HERE for a map to the funeral home.
