Louis Howard Glantz

Louis Howard Glantz passed away at age 86 unexpectedly after a brief illness on April 1, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents, Milton and Sally Glantz. He is survived by Coralie “Corky” Glantz, his wife of 63 years; children, Thomas (Jennifer) Glantz, Leslie (Gary) Glantz-Moran; grandchildren Trevor, Ryan (Alex), Paige and Kendall; sister, Barbara (Richard) Reznick, beloved extended family, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Louis was born and lived in the Chicago area until he and Corky moved out to their beloved Keuka Lake house over a decade ago. He studied engineering at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, and during this time he met Corky through friends at University of Illinois – they had an incredible 63 years of marriage. After college, he served 3 years in the Air Force as a Captain where he and Corky were stationed in Japan and traveled the region. They moved back to the Chicago area and he later got his MBA from DePaul University. Lou worked in the auto and technology industries as a sales engineer for many years until he started L.H. Glantz and Associates, and continued to use his expertise in many industries including selling environmental test chambers and consulting. He and Corky traveled the world and had many incredible adventures. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, golf, sailing, skiing, watching sports, and photography. He loved music (especially jazz), his dog, his kids, his family and friends, and especially his grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 16th at 11:30 AM EST at Brighton Memorial Chapel, 3325 Winton Road South, Rochester. For those unable to attend you can view the LiveStream by clicking here.

A celebration of his life will follow this July 2024 – details to come.
