Passed away on August 7, 2024, at the age of 92. Predeceased by her first husband, Isaac Itkin; second husband, Harry Rosenfeld; parents, Jacob and Celia [Olenikow] Kaufman. Survived by her son, David (Ellen) Itkin; step-daughters, Stefynie Rosenfeld and Valerie Rosenfeld; grandson, Brady Nathan Itkin; cousin (but really a sister), Phyllis (Bernie) Natal; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Marcia graduated from Monroe High School. She received her BA from SUNY Brockport and an MA from the University of Rochester. Marcia loved teaching in Rochester, NY, Great Neck, NY, Peabody, MA and 23 happy years in Brighton, NY. She was an active volunteer at the JCC, Jewish Family Services and at Temple B’rith Kodesh. Marcia thoroughly enjoyed theater both as a performer and part of an audience.

Funeral Services will be held on FRIDAY August 16, 2024 at 2 PM at Temple B’rith Kodesh (2131 Elmwood Avenue). CLICK HERE for a map to Temple.
