Dear Bob, David and Michael (and Geri), It was with heavy hearts late today we learned of the passing of your very dear Merilyn who lit many hearts with her sincere love, and caring and all. Such a bright lady, and dear friend to all. She trusted so many and many trusted her. We relied on Meri for her laughter, joy and hugs, and get up and do, and to do the right thing. Our hearts, love and prayers with you today, and tomorrow. We are so thankful to have known Merilyn.... Terry and Ed

Hello Bob, I am so sorry to learn of Marilyn’s passing. I did not know Marilyn well, but I was always impressed with her desire to make the world a better place and how hard she worked toward this goal. I knew her from Asbury First. She will not be forgotten. Betty Stewart

My condolences to the family. I met Merlyin as a young child, she was my girl scout leader. Throughout the years Merlyin was still close to my family; she was always caring, loving, and very supportive of us girls even in our adult lives. I will remember Merlyin as the kind-hearted woman she was. I will miss her dearly.

Dear Bob, I read in yesterday’s paper of the passing of Merilyn, or Merri as I called her. Although we hadn’t kept in touch for some time, I always liked her for her smiling, friendly nature. Since Bill passed away some months ago, I well understand the emotions you are experiencing now. My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. Sincerely, Jackie Cave

Please accept our condolences. Meri was our wonderful neighbor for many years. She made fun “Bird” parties, for several years! I remember her amazing doll collection. Indeed, Meri was a lovely soul and active doer of service for many.

Bob and I are sorry to learn of the loss of your dear wife and mother, Merilyn. In many interactions with me (Joyce), Merilyn always struck me as an extremely kind, warm, and caring person. Her passion for peace, including in Israel/Palestine, was very strong. I am sorry I will be out of town next Wednesday and therefore unable to attend the funeral or shiva. Please accept Bob's and my condolences.
