Mildred “Miki” Lasser (Kasanov)

Mildred “Miki” Lasser, 97, passed away peacefully April 7, 2025. She was predeceased by her parents, Herman and Sarah Kasanov and her beloved husband, Clayton Lasser. She is survived by her children, Shelley (Abe) McCoy, Donna (Raymond) Marks, and Steven (Kathy) Lasser, grandchildren Jonathan (Meilin) McCoy, Brian McCoy, Michael Marks, BJ (Liz) Marks, Jamie Russo, Kimberly (Matthew) Hochadel, and Eric Lasser, and great grandchildren Hayleigh, Ava, Elanna, Lukas, Jordyn, Michael, Layla, and Cairo.

Throughout her long life Miki’s greatest joys were here 64 wonderful years with her adoring husband Clayton, time with her family and experiences with her many dear friends.  Miki loved assisting Clayton in the family home improvement business as his main secretary.  She enjoyed many social groups with Clayton, and they both had so many loving and caring friends.  Miki enjoyed being in a seasonal bowling league, playing canasta, bridge, Maj Jongg, gin rummy with her weekly groups and singing.  Miki will always be remembered for her kindness towards others and love of her family.

Her family acknowledges and appreciates the excellent care and assistance she received at The Landing of Brighton and most recently at Fairport Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 12:30 PM at Brighton Memorial Chapel, Inc. [For those unable to attend, you can view the livestream of the services by clicking HERE] (3325 Winton Road South) Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
