MELMAN, Neil – With deep sadness we announce the passing of Neil, at age 79, surrounded by his loved ones. Beloved husband and best friend of Ellen for 56 years. Loving and devoted father of Rabbi Aaron Melman and Elisa Rotman, and Ora and Ryan Leopold. Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Harriet Melman of Rochester, N.Y., Steven Jonas, David and Robin Jonas, and Sheri Jonas. Proud Zaidy of Jordan, Hannah, Dylan, and Amelia who will all miss him deeply. Loving uncle and great uncle. Son of the late David and Anne Melman, and son-in-law of the late Harry and Zelda Jonas. Neil will be missed by extended family and many good friends worldwide. He always had a smile for everyone, which we will dearly miss.
