He will be missed by our whole extended family.

Norman was so very loved and lived for his family. His grandchildren were his top priority. A passionate man, Norman always found beauty and humor around him. His baking, cooking and love for our Sunday family gatherings kept all of us going on a continual basis. After a decades long golf addiction, he hung up his clubs and more recently began to take such joy in planting, gardening and fishing with his friends. He read voraciously and was always an interested learner. He lived life to the fullest, surrounding himself with family and friends as often as he could. His kind and gentle spirit, as well as his gusto for life and will forever be a part of all of those who knew him. He took pleasure in meeting and getting to know new friends, as well as reconnecting with old ones. Norman’s sense of humor and love for life kept all of us going, and will continue to do so for many, many years. We will miss him terribly. Norman’s “big presence” will fill our lives forever!

Our heartfelt thanks to the nurses and doctors at Strong Memorial Hospital’s ICU Unit 428.

“G.S.L., Bear Boy!”
