Passed away on April 1, 2022, at the age of 90. He was born in Brooklyn NY on September 9, 1931.Predeceased by parents Jacob and Pauline Krohn. Survived by Rita, his dedicated and loving wife of 64 years; daughters, Lauren of NYC and Emily (John Harris) of Rochester, NY; and two loving grandsons, Alexander & Jackson.
Paul served his country and was a veteran of the Korean War. He graduated from City College and Brooklyn Law School. He was an Attorney in private practice for over 50 years.
Paul loved practicing law and his role as a Trustee for the Brooklyn Bankruptcy Courts. He enjoyed his walks around Montague and Court Streets in Brooklyn Heights.
An avid sports fan, Paul especially enjoyed watching the Knicks and Yankees.
Paul loved to hear about Jackson’s baseball games and was proud of Alexander and his passion for photography.
Paul was active in the Brooklyn Mental Health Association and was passionate about supporting people. He greeted everyone with a smile and shared his generosity and kindness with many.
Thanks to family, special friends and neighbors in Brooklyn who were a tremendous support to Paul and his family over the years. Thanks also to all the Rochester friends with whom he became close later in life. Special thanks to Joan, Rachel, Devin and Heather for their exceptional care of Paul in his last year.
Graveside Services will be held TUESDAY April 5, 2022 at 9:30 AM in White Haven Memorial Park (210 Marsh Road). Please gather at the main entrance. CLICK HERE for a map to the cemetery.
The family will sit Shiva TUESDAY April 5, 2022 at Temple Beth El (139 Winton Road South) from 2 – 4 PM & 7 – 9 PM. CLICK HERE for a map to Temple Beth El.
