Richard Stephen Howell of Rochester, NY and Jacksonville, Fl; Born November 10. 1947 – Died August 30, 2025.

Rich was predeceased by his parents, Betty [Bailey] and Richard L. Howell.

He is survived by his wife, Ann [Comiez, Hammer] of Jacksonville; child, Peter (Jacklyn) Hammer and granddaughter Ava Melody Hammer, of Flowey Branch GA;  in-laws, Marla (David) Taplinger of Pittsford NY, Marcie Rosenberg of Rochester; David Rosenberg  Myrtle Beach; siblings, Jaquiline (William) Folk of McClure, PA, Deborah Sinsebox of Bath NY, and Lori (Richard) Kennedy of Ontario, NY; special cousin, Gloria (Charles) Dennehy of Henrietta NY; as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Rich was a Vietnam Veteran who earned a purple heart and a bronze star. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father who adored his granddaughter. Rich will be deeply missed by all who love him.

Funeral Service to take place at 9:00 AM on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Brighton Memorial Chapel, 3325 Winton Road South, Rochester NY; followed by an Interment at Riverside Cemetery.
