Roberta Kirsch Feldman

January 30, 1952 – October 21, 2026

Roberta “Bobbi” Kirsch Feldman, of Rochester, NY passed away peacefully on October 21, 2026, at age 74. Beloved wife of 46 years to David Feldman, devoted mother to Kate (David) Kurzmann and Andrew (Remy) Feldman, loving grandmother of Sari, Micah, Rafael, Emmet, Felix and Lucy, dear sister of Ken (Nancy) Kirsch and Harry Kirsch, sister-in-law of Joel (Meryl Finkel) Feldman and Ann Merle Feldman (Bob Meyerhoff), and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to the late Florence and Seymour Kirsch, Roberta grew up in Marblehead, Massachusetts, where she had a wonderful childhood including many memorable summer days at Preston Beach. She began college at Mount Holyoke in 1969, where she made lifelong friends, and graduated from the University of Rochester in 1974. She earned her law degree from Albany Law School in 1980.

That October, she married David Barry Feldman, and the two made their home together for 46 years, first in Rochester, and later in Brighton, where they raised their two children, Kate and Andy. Roberta practiced family and real estate law in Rochester for over four decades, first at Sutton, DeLeeuw, Clark & Darcy, then at Gray, Feldman & Rosenbaum and later in her own practice.

Roberta was devoted to Rochester’s Jewish community and served on the boards Jewish Federation of Greater Rochester and other organizations. Bobbi was a fierce advocate for women’s rights and actively volunteered for political causes throughout her life.

Bobbi never missed a get-together, big or small. She took enormous pride in her family, visiting often and staying in touch with relatives near and far. She will be missed by friends from every chapter of her life, from Marblehead to Rochester, and by her colleagues in the Rochester legal community.
