Roger Neil Schindler
On Wednesday December 21st, 2022, Roger Neil Schindler of Hot Springs Village Arkansas passed away at the age of 81. Born to Dick and Anita Schindler on July 6th 1941, Roger lived in Rochester NY until he enrolled in the armed forces. Roger was a proud Navy Veteran, a loving husband, brother, father, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather. In many of the places Roger has lived, he spent time volunteering in various capacities with fire and other EMS services. Most recently Roger served as Vice Commander with the American Legion Post # 123 and out of all of his many accomplishments, Roger was unequivocally most proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Roger is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Kaye Schindler, his sister Babs Michael, daughters; Tracey Johnson (Brian), Jodi Householder (Michael), Kristy Norris (John), son; Scott Lively Roger leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. In addition to the above noted friends and family, Roger was also fiercely attached to his puppies and will be missed by Annie and Hannah Mae.
A celebration of Roger’s life will be held in Hot Springs Village Arkansas on January 28th, at the Caruth Village Funeral Home with refreshments to follow.
