Rona M. Newman
Brighton: Passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband, Wilfred “Bill” Newman in 2016; mother, Belle Litowitz; and brother, Monte Weisner. Survived by her children, Leslie (Howard) Crane, Kenneth (Abby) Newman, Karen (Larry) Rabinowitz and Michele Newman; grandchildren, Daniel (Daniela), Jeremy & Ari (Ilana) Crane, Adam Newman & Dina (Jason) Kwasnicki, Becki (Kellen Healy), Sam (Devon Young) & Hannah Rabinowitz and Trevor & Owen FitzSimmons; great-grandchildren, Mila, Arlo, Levi and Zane Crane; niece, Debbie (Blakey) St. John.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Jewish Home, Cottage 3, Second Floor and Rochester Regional Health Hospice for their compassionate care given to Rona.

Funeral Services will be held on WEDNESDAY, June 4, 2025, 11:00 AM at Temple Beth El, 139 Winton Road, Rochester, NY 14610 (CLICK HERE for a map to Temple Beth El). The family will sit Shiva at 1 Reserve View Blvd, Rochester, NY 14618 (CLICK HERE for a map to the Shiva Location) on Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM & 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
