Rona Sobol Poss

Rochester – Passed away on March 19, 2026 at age 90. She was predeceased by her husband, Sydney Poss; parents, Darby and Berta Sobol.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Wertheim and his wife, Monse; grandchildren, Jonathan, Benjamin and Eva Wertheim; brother, Peter Sobol.

Rona worked as the Assistant to the Dean of Faculty at Nazareth College. She was a life-long painter and was very active in the Rochester Arts Community.

Services were held privately in Connecticut. Those who wish may make a contribution to a charity of your choice to support the arts.
