Sally Schweid passed away on August 21, 2024 at the age of 92. Predeceased by parents, Abe and Yetta Morgenstern, beloved husband Paul of 60 years, and brother Moe; Survived by her children Randi Chakrin (Michael), Marla Allentoff (Michael), Stuart Schweid (Marylu) and her sister Edith Keller.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Jonathan, Megan (Luis), Kara (Gavin), Alex and great-grandchild Melanie.

Born in New York City, she attended Brooklyn College. She worked in administration at Downstate Medical Center, a job that she loved.  After having her children, Sally worked as an administrative assistant in a company that produced celebrity figurines, as a bookkeeper for the family business, and a real estate agent.

Sally was a devoted wife, and doting mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was known for her support and encouragement of others. She was a member of Temple Sholom as well as one of the founding members.   She was an active member of her community all throughout her life including her residence at Jewish Senior Life.  She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, August 23 2024 at 10AM in White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Rd, Pittsford, NY 14534. Friends are asked to gather at the Main Entrance. CLICK HERE for a map to the cemetery.
