Passed away on March 7, 2022, at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband, Mike Futerman. Survived by her children, Daphne (Ira Jevotovsky) Futerman, Eli (Peggy) Futerman and Rina (Danny) Chessin; cherished grandchildren, Aviva (Arie) Schochat, Joshua (Taylor) Futerman, Mathew Jevotovsky, Lauren (Dan) Nottes, Alex Chessin and David Jevotovsky; loving great-grandchildren, Michael & Ethan Schochat, Emma & Benjamin Futerman and Madison & Noa Nottes; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family would like to thank Kimberly Davide, Pamela Smith, Latasha Johnson and Darlene Gorecki for their many years of incredible 24/7 care.

Sara was a Holocaust Survivor. Funeral Services will be held WEDNESDAY March 9, 2022 at 1 PM in The Main Sanctuary at Temple Beth El (139 Winton Road South). Temple Beth El requires proof of vaccination and the family requires anyone attending to wear a mask. For those unable to attend in person, please go to https://www.tberochester.org/live-stream/ to livestream the service.

Procession to follow to Britton Road Cemetery.

The family will sit Shiva on Wednesday from 7 – 9 PM, Thursday from 2 – 4 PM & 7 – 9 PM, Friday from 2 – 4 PM, Sunday from 2 – 4 PM & 7 – 9 PM and Monday from 2 – 4 PM & 7 – 9 PM at 85 Trevor Court in Brighton. For those attending Shiva, the family requires you to be vaccinated and to wear a mask. CLICK HERE  for a map to the Shiva House.
