Unexpectedly on July 17, 2022, at age 30. Predeceased by her aunt, Nancy Weisberg & grandfathers, William Weisberg and Sanford Krusch. Steph is survived by her heartbroken family which includes her parents, Deborah & David Krusch; brother, Danny & sister, Elizabeth Krusch; grandmother, Jeanie Weisberg; uncle, Richard Weisberg; loving & faithful dog, Cosmo, and her community of RIT & Genesee Valley Harriers coaches & runners, Red Cross & RRH co-workers & fellow students at the Isabella Graham Hart School of Nursing.
Steph graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Networking & System Administration. She worked in this field for several years ultimately shifting her focus to health care. First, becoming a phlebotomist for the American Red Cross, and later enrolled in nursing school while working as a patient care technician for Rochester General Hospital. All was done in the spirit of helping people in Rochester live happier and healthier lives.
Throughout her life, Steph was sustained by her devotion to running. When she was running, she could “put herself out there, feel the freedom and give that final push to the finish line.” Stephanie finished many races and dramatically improved her speed and endurance over 18 years of dedication to the sport.
Stephanie was a wonderful, kindhearted person who will be forever missed by her family, extended family, and community of friends.
The family will receive friends on SUNDAY, July 24, 2022, from 10-11 AM in the All Seasons Chapel at the White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Rd. Steph’s Funeral Services will immediately follow at 11 AM [MAP]. At the request of the family, there will be no home visitation.
