Steven A. Goss passed away on July 26, 2026 at the age of 81.

He is survived by his daughters, Rachel (Michael) Lebowitz and Cara (Kevin) Graham; Grandchildren: Gavriella (Avi) Snitzer, Netanel Lebowitz, Aviezri (Shani) Lebowitz, Tzipora (Ari) Seiden, Neshama (Baruch) Cenker, Zecharya Lebowitz, Temima Lebowitz, Aaron Graham, and Sydney Graham; Great-Grandchildren: Aliza Snitzer, Sara Snitzer, Naftali Lebowitz, and Eliana Lebowitz; Several nieces and nephews

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years, Susan;

Steven was born December 4th, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Spring Garden College, Steven moved to Rochester, NY to attend the Rochester Institute of Technology and work at the Xerox Corporation. Steven successfully earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from RIT and was a proud employee of the Xerox Corporation for 42 years before retiring at age 62. Steven enjoyed many hobbies including photography, travel, and computers. Most importantly, he loved spending time and making memories with his Grand and Great-Grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM, TUESDAY, July 28, 2026 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Rochester, NY.

Shiva will be observed immediately following the Service at Congregation Beth Sholom, 1161 Monroe Avenue, Rochester, NY, 14620 until 3:30 pm and in Baltimore, Maryland for the remaining days.
