June 25, 1932 – June 15, 2021. Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Judy (Silverstein); devoted children, Bob (Faith) Ertischek & daughter Dana (Victor) Greez; adored grandchildren, Lily, Miranda, Lila, & Zac. He was predeceased by his parents Moe and Betty Ertis, his brother Rudy Ertis, and his sister, Sandra Hill.

Ted was a computer pioneer, having worked at Burroughs Corporation as a field engineer, maintaining and repairing early large mainframe computers in Rochester and around the country. After his retirement, he built theatre sets for the Jewish Community Center, where he was an involved and beloved community member. He enjoyed playing racquetball & long walks throughout his adult life.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Highland Hospital for their exceptional care & support of Teddy.

Funeral Services will be held PRIVATELY in White Haven Memorial Park. Those wishing to may stream the service on FRIDAY at 11 AM by CLICKING HERE. We asked that you please be patient if the service does not start exactly on time. We will be processing to the grave from the front entrance and the pallbearers will need time to carry Ted to his final resting place.  

Donations may be made to the Jewish Community Center [LINK] or a charity of one’s choice in Ted’s memory.
