In Loving Memory of Yeva Volftsun
Yeva is survived by her father Iosif, brother Lev, sister in law Margo, nieces Lana and Stephanie and their families. Yeva will be greatly missed by the residents and staff of Heritage Christian Services, her extended family for the past 40 years.
Yeva Volftsun lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering strength. Born in the former Soviet Union, she immigrated to the United States with her parents, overcoming countless challenges to build a beautiful life in Rochester. She learned English, embraced every opportunity, and never let anything hold her back.
Though she faced obstacles with cerebral palsy, Yeva never let them define her. She radiated energy, joy, and an unstoppable zest for life. She formed deep connections, made literally a hundred friends, and inspired all who knew her with her resilience and warmth.
Yeva’s presence was a reminder to live fully, love deeply, and find happiness in every moment. Though she is no longer with us, her light will never fade, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. May her memory be a blessing.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 24th at 2PM at Brighton Memorial Chapel, 3325 Winton Road South, Rochester. Interment to follow at Britton Road Cemetery.
