Passed away on August 6, 2026, at the age of 88. Predeceased by his parents, Ludwig and Regina Averbakh; and brother, Norberg Averbakh. Survived by his loving wife, Noyema [Rappaport] Averbakh; children, Rosa (Igor) Shrago and Mark Averbakh; grandchildren, Yevgeny (Marina) Shrago, Michael (Olivia) Shrago, Alma Averbakh and Ilan Averbakh; 2 great-grandchildren; and a loving family and community of dear friends.
