I met Bruce during freshman orientation at Rutgers New Brunswick. We were on the same dorm floor. I remember floor hockey in the hallway, pinochle in the lounge, sledding with cafeteria trays we swiped, and a rec bowling team. We shared a lot of laughs and good times at RU and then kept in touch for 50 years. Easy to discuss anything with, good heart, good soul, bright as hell. My heart goes out to him, Martha, Jordana, Matt, and everyone who loved Bruce. I will miss my friend.

I was so sorry to see this and wish you, Martha, and family deepest sympathies.. I will always remember you and Bruce in the JCC singles, and remember when you got married. Interesting how we both found our significant other there. Stay strong.

For many years, Bruce was the heart of morning minyan at Temple Beth El. We always enjoyed being with him, our designated Levi. His love for Judaism and prayer was abundantly apparent. Rest in peace, my friend. Gan Eden has gained a good one.
